Her Story

Wenny Blackman had always been passionate about beauty. She had worked in the industry for 26 years, first as a hairstylist and esthetician, and then as a salon owner since 1996. Her salon was a beloved fixture in the community, and Wenny was known for her expertise in everything from hair to skincare. After 11 years of owning her first salon, she opened two more in 2008 and 2013. With the help of her team, she built a million-dollar salon business model, and her salon was recognized as one of the best Aveda Concept Salons in Katy, TX.

 

But then, disaster struck. Hurricane Harvey took out her salon business, and clients could no longer afford to spend money on luxury brand salons. Wenny was devastated - she had poured her heart and soul into the business, and now it was all gone. Wenny struggled to pick up the pieces, and after years of trying to recover, she realized that it was time for a change. As time went on, Wenny began to realize that she had a unique perspective on the beauty industry. She had been through the ups and downs of running a salon, and she had the experience and knowledge to help others navigate the challenges of the business. And so, Wenny decided to start a new chapter in her life. She would become a salon consultant, using her expertise to help other salon owners through the hard times - just like she had gone through.

 

It wasn't easy at first. Wenny had to start from scratch, building up her reputation and client base. But she was determined, and she worked tirelessly to build her business. Slowly but surely, Wenny's reputation as a skilled and knowledgeable consultant began to spread. She worked with salons of all sizes and styles, helping them to overcome the challenges they faced and achieve success.

Through it all, Wenny never forgot the lessons she had learned. She knew firsthand how hard it was to run a salon, and she was always there for her clients, offering advice, support, and

encouragement.

 

Today, Wenny is a successful salon consultant, with a thriving business and a reputation for excellence. She's proud of the work she does, and she's grateful for the opportunity to help others succeed in the industry she loves. And she knows that even though she lost her salon years ago, she found something even more valuable - the ability to help others achieve their dreams.
